Afling's dam Fantasay and Fairview Amir Shakani went on to produce high quality offspring as well, producing chestnut filly after filly. Wybalena Lodge Fairytale Princess is a perfect example, and was born the year Afling went Australian Champion Mare, thus prompting her name. For a small stud such as Wybalena Lodge to win National Champion was indeed a fairytale. "Princess has also had her fair share of success in the show ring, winning Champion Filly at the National Stud Horse Show in Sydney, Supreme at the All Arabian Show, Champion Filly at the Queensland Challenge, and as a mare, Champion and Supreme at the North Coast National.
Early in 2000 the Neals were given the privilege of sharing in the ownership of the stallion D'Amors Montabi-Khan (SK Shakla Khan x Amira El Saghira FA) with Don and Pat Amor. Montabi-Khan has sired some lovely foals for Wybalena Lodge.
The decision was then made to move the stud to Queensland to a property located in the Gold Coast Hinterland, at Boyland.
As the stud continues to grow, the Neals plan to produce good horses with great Arabian type, movement and attitude for all to enjoy.
